1908 Ora Hedegard 1971

Ora Alfreda Bulow Hedegard was born June 25, 1908, at Dexter, Minn., the daughter of Charles and Mary Charlotte Bulow.
She attended school at Elkton, Minn., and Feb. 11, 1928. SHe married W. L. Hedegard in Rochester. They resided at Highmore, S.D., from 1928 until 1933, when they moved to Grand Meadow.
Mrs Hedegard was a board member of the Minnesota Arborretum and Minnesota Horticultural Society, a member of the Austin Garden Club, Hoe and Grow Garden Club, Town and Country Garden Club, Austin, and Grand Meadow Garden Club. She had held every office in the First District Horticultural Society, was an officer of the National Hemerocalis Society and the originator of the Holiday Panorama, annual district flower show. She often served as a flower show judge.
Mrs Hedegard died at 9:30 a.m. June 15, at her home after suffering a heart attack.
SHe is survived by her husband, W. L. Hedegard, Grand Meadow; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 18, at the Lutheran Church, Grand Meadow, Rev. Allen Peterson officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, with the Worlein Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
