Rodnee Carr Rodnee Elaine Carr, 82, Topeka, Kansas, passed away November 8, 2018.
Rodnee was born on November 17, 1935, the daughter of David and Lillie Bellmon Fisher. She grew up in Wellington, Kansas, and attended Emporia State University. Rodnee married Morris Carr on October 19, 1957, at Holy Name Catholic Church, in Topeka. She enjoyed counted cross stitch, traveling, watching KU basketball, gardening, dancing and playing bridge. Gammy had a special place in her heart for all of her granddaughters.
Rodnee is survived by her husband, Morris of the home; children, Dian Dare (Darrell) of Seattle, Washington, David Carr (Kelly), Dana Martin (Don) and Daniel Carr (Andi), all of Topeka; granddaughters, Jessica Sorensen (Brady), Madison Carr and Megan Carr, all of Topeka; great-granddaughters, Emery and Riley Sorensen of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Daniel Emerson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Mater Dei Holy Name Church, with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
