Olivia M. Hernandez was called home by the Lord on May 9, 2014, at the age of 68. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 3, 1946. She is preceded in death by her sister, Maria Rodriguez; and her mother, Juanita Martinez. She is loved and will be missed by her children, Cynthia Guerrero (Leo Jr.), Mario Hernandez (Margaret) and Melissa Hernandez; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, with a great-granddaughter on the way; a brother, Antonio Moncada; and other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, with an Evening Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Procession departs at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014, for a 12 Noon Funeral Service at Triumphant Church, 339 W. Hutchins. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III. The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Manuel Santiago and Staff at Cancer Care Center of South Texas. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
