Brody Tyler Allen, the two-year-old boy who inspired many from all around the world, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Brody was born on March 24, 2016.

In May of 2018 his family received the devastating news that he was diagnosed with ETMR, a debilitating type of brain cancer. Since that time Brody spent more than 100 days in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Brody’s greatest desires were to go home and to go outside to play. Both of his wishes and so many more were granted through the excellent medical care, community support, and prayers that Brody received from so many in the Greater Cincinnati Area and around the world.

In many ways, Brody was a typical 2-year-old boy. He loved dinosaurs, Superman, Spiderman, and playing outside. He had an extremely strong bond with his sister, Bailey. Throughout Brody’s fight he had the remarkable strength to continue to smile. His smile was infectious and was a gift to everyone who loved, cared, and supported him. His short life was a lesson in the best of humanity, the power of prayer, and the love of God.

Todd and Shilo Allen and their entire family would like to thank the amazing staff of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Starshine Hospice, his “Team Brody” warriors, and the entire community for all the love, support, and prayers that they have received over these past months.

Brody is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Allen and his cousin, Tyler Warndorf. This immeasurable loss will be felt by his loving parents, Todd and Shilo Allen; his brothers and sisters, Corey Smith (Alyah), McKenzie Allen, Andrew Allen, Alex Allen, and Bailey Allen; his aunts and uncles, Tina Warndorf, Dina Brock (Kevin), Mace Allen, Jennifer White (Larry), Michelle Bingle (Steve), and Bryan Allen; many cousins; and his nephews, Wyatt, Ameré, and Legend.

Public visitation will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at First Church of Christ, 6080 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, KY 41005, beginning at 9:00 a.m., until the time of Service at 12:00 p.m.

The service will be streamed live. For information on the live stream please visit the Team Brody Facebook Page.

Burial will be private.
