He was a mechanic for Generator Power Systems and died of heart failure Friday at his home. He was a member of Germantown Methodist Church and the Memphis Yacht Club. At the time of his death he left his mother and stepfather, Glenda and Frank Wright of Germantown; his father and stepmother, Cecil and Rhita Akin of Ramer, Tenn.; three brothers, David Wright of Louisville, Greg Akin of Collierville and Scott Akin of Jackson, Tenn., and his grandmother, Christine M.
