Mrs. Sarah T. Burke died Tuesday morning (May 28, 1907)after a long illness. She was a native of Bethany and had lived all of her long life in Genesee county. In June, 1856, she was married to Walter Burke, who survives her. Mrs. Burke is also survived by two sons, J. W. Burke of East Alexander and ex-representative C. H. Burke of Pierre, S. D., and three daughters, Mrs. John G. Torrance of Batavia, Mrs. C. J. Harris of West Bethany and Miss Grace Burke, who lives at home. The funeral has held yesterday afternoon at the house. Interment was in Elmwood cemetery.
