Debra Sue Newsom, 64, passed away August 14, 2018. Debra was born on October 31, 1953 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to James Vezey and Vivian Mae Purdy. Debra enjoyed all things arts and crafts, specifically cross-stitching and crocheting. Her favorite past time, however, was spending time with her grandchildren.Debra was survived by her husband, Mark Newsom; children, Erik Monasco,Amy Monasco, Alla Mahony, April Zec. Sister, Lynell Hutchison; niece, Amanda Hutchinson ; nephew, Joshua Hutchinson; 8 grandchildren Lukas Zec and Anthony Zec , Alex Mahony , Brittany Monasco/Davis Justin Monasco/Davis and Clayton Monasco/Davis JR. Brandon Monasco/Hicks and Lizzy Monasco/Hicks ; 2 great-grandchildren, Bentley Davis and Sawyer Davis. Debra is preceded in death by her parents, J.V. and Vivian Mae Purdy.

A memorial service for Debra will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2018. Services are under the direction of the John Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
