TIMONIUM, Md. -- Wallace "Bud" Barrows, 83, of Timonium passed away Oct. 16, 2006.

He was the loving husband of Barbara H. Barrows (nee Hawkes) of Timonium, formerly of Manchester, Maine.

He was also the devoted son of the late Gov. Lewis O. and Pauline Barrows of Newport, Maine; devoted father of Peter H. Barrows and his wife, Lynda C., of Cockeysville, and Scott E. Barrows of Lineboro; brother of the late Edward and Robert Barrows of Augusta, Maine; and grandfather of Lisa C. Barrows of Cockeysville.

The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., 10 West Padonia Road, Timonium, until the time of the a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may be directed in Mr. Barrows' name to the Penn Mar Organization, Inc., for the support of the handicapped, 310 Old Freeland Road, Maryland Line, MD 21105.
