He is survived by his wife, Mable Lee Carey; three daughters, Gloria Mae Carey, Alfredia Carey, Winona Marie Carey, all at home; one son, Amos Lee Carey Jr., at home; three step-daughters, Mrs. Donald Simpson, . Route 2, Danville, Mrs. Glenn Williams, Route 1, Rush, Ky., Mrs. Henley Pike, Route 1, Junction City; two stepsons, Russell Rayburn Ross, and Wayne Ross, both of Route 1, Moreland; three brothers, Clifton Carey, Orville Carey, both of Moreland, Roy Carey, Illinois; three half-sisters, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Long officiating. Burial will be in Simpson Cemetery in Casey County. Friends may call at the funeral home.
