Mr. Davis, an employee of General Motors Company in Detroit died in the Industrial Clinic in the city. An ex-Marine who served with the U.S. Army during the Korean war.
The body arrived in Bluefield yesterday and was removed to Cravens Funeral Home in Montcalm to remain until 7:30 pm today when it will be taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther M Davis of McComas.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, the former Miss Delores Crace, three children: Glenna, Betty Ann and Richard McKinley Davis, two sisters Aretta Cray of Caribou, Me. and Mrs Shelby Kade of Dearborn, Michigan and three bothers: Bernard and Atlas Davis, of McComas and Bobby Davis, serving with the U.S. Navy.
Pallbearers will be Edwin O. Cole, Bruce Short, Garland Elmore, Gay Wyatt, Curtis Bell and Buddy Perkins. Young people of Thomas Memorial Church will serve as flower bearers.
