Bernice E. (Howard) Bowersox-Adams, 66, of Sugarcreek Township died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1939 in Kittanning to Harvey and Viola (Snyder) Howard. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God in Apollo. Her hobbies were fishing and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Edwin Adams; three sons, Randy Bowersox and wife Vickie and Michael Bowersox, all of Apollo and Terry Bowersox of North Apollo; two grandsons, Brandon Bowersox and Shawn Bowersox; one brother, Elwood Howard of Sugarcreek Township; and two sisters, Shirley Loose and Harriet McClain, both of Chicora. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Louis Bowersox. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Cowansville. Additional visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home until funeral services at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Darrell Charney and Paul DeBacco, co-officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
