Visitation for Sallie Fortunato, 54, of Natchez who died at her residence will be at Laird Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with a memorial service immediately following at noon.

Sallie was a lifelong resident of Natchez. She loved the outdoors and riding motorcycles and horseback. She was a friend to all who knew her and greeted everyone with a smile. She had a kind heart, kindred spirit and never stopped giving generously. She dearly loved her family and her pets. She was a collector of memories — pictures, report cards and other treasures that she kept tidily tucked away in her home. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Noonie Fortunato.
