"Here lyeth buryed the Body of Richard Glover, Citizen and Pewterer of London ; who was twice master of his Company and one of the Common Council of this City, having two wives, Elizabeth and Mary — had issue by his first, three sons, and by his second wife five sons and four daughters — he deceased the 16 day of August, A.D. 1615, being aged 59 years."

This Memorial was inside St. Margaret Patten but was burned in the fire of 1666, according to the book (on Google Books), "Middlesex - Northumberland", by Thomas Cox, p. 188.

Richard was christened in St. Mary Woolchurch Haw, City of London, in 1556. He married Mary Holmden, daughter of Edward Holmden, there in 1592, according to the church records online.

There is a Richard Glover in the 1582 Subsidy Roll in Farringdon Ward Within, St. Faith parish. This may be him. St. Faith's was once beside St. Paul's and is now located in the crypt of St. Paul's and used as the Royal Chapel.
