Mrs Edmund Anderson
Berwick-Mrs Lois Alfreda Anderson, 70, widow of Edmund Anderson, Berwick, died at the Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick after a short illness. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Valentine Jodrey.
She attended school in New Germany and moved to the valley at an early age. Later she marries Ed Anderson and they moved to Harbourville where he operated a farm. They later moved to Black Rock where Mr Anderson was keeper of the light for a number of years. Mr Anderson predeceased her in 1958.
Surviving is one son: Carman, Berwick; her step-mother Mrs Rosie Jodrey, Springfield. three step-sisters: Phyllis (Mrs William Murphy), Aylesford; Evelyn (Mrs Thomas Lohnes), Dalhousie; Annie (Mrs Vernon Robar), Springfield; one stepbrother, Charles Jodrey, Springfield, one brother Aphis, Worcester, Mass.
Funeral service for Mrs Anderson will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick, conducted by Rev J. D. Davison. Intermet will be in the family lot, Berwick Cemetery.
