Made a b-line for the southern town named after their home district and began own forest extractive business: joined 'Woodstock' block site work where their marriage locale history was in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, where more Proffitts resided. [Was he the Joseph Proffitt born 1840 or the John Proffitt noted early 1846, both in Wolverhampton, a refugee brother swapping names? Wolves-Oxford-London travel route believable.
