Penny Sue Yost Fortenberry, 62, of Picayune, Miss., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born March 3, 1952 in California.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church. A Memorial Service held by the family will follow from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Mrs. Fortenberry was a resident of Pearl River County and a RN at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Yost and Lora Ava Close Yost.
She is survived by husband, Jim Fortenberry of Picayune; step-mother, Marge “Wahge” Yost; sons; Johnathan (Regina) Rahmel of Tupelo, Miss., Jason (Pamela) Rahmel of Poplarville, Miss., and Beau (Courtney) Rahmel of Carriere, Miss.; step-daughter, Angelia Fortenbery of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; brother, Jay C. (Trudy) Yost of Lompoc, Calif.; sister, Beth (Craig) Nelson of Lacombe, La.; grandchildren: Tyler, John-Logan, Justin, Ashli, and Seth; and three step-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
