Born on September 9th, 1964 in Springfield, Missouri Angela was the daughter of Larry D. and Judy A. (Gough) Horned, of Springfield. She was married on June 2nd, 1984 to Terry L. Cox, son of Marion A. (Bud) and Virginia Cox of Independence, Missouri. Angela worked for PT Solutions (formerly Bridges Physical Therapy), Chalmette, Louisiana from her home for the past 9 years as a Medical Compliance Officer and Account/Billing Representative. She attended Kickapoo High School followed by Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO where she met her husband who was her university track coach. Angela was a cheerleader in high school as well as an outstanding athlete, running track for Kickapoo. She later attended college on a track scholarship as a high jumper and hurdler. Her athleticism qualified her for the NCAA Division II National Track Championship meet as a Freshman in both events. After her marriage to Terry, the couple lived in Independence, MO, Joplin, MO, Columbia, MO, Springfield, MO, Evansville, IN, Lebanon, Mo, and for the past 12 years back in Springfield. She gave her life to Jesus Christ in her teenage years.
Angela was preceded in death by her father Larry Horned and father-n-law, Marion A. (Bud) Cox. She leaves behind her husband, Terry Cox, daughter Shannon Cox, son Connor Cox, mother Judy Horned, and mother-in-law Virginia Cox. She also leaves behind her brother Jeff Horned, sister-in-law April Horned, niece Braylen Horned and nephew Logan Horned.
