Of Washington, DC. Died at an assisted living facility in Washington, DC. on January 11, 2018, after a courageous struggle with cancer. He was 86 years old. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Letitia Baldrige, and his cherished sister, Louise Van der Vort . Devoted father to Malcolm B. Hollensteiner (Carey) and Clare L. Smyth (James), he is also survived by seven grandchildren, whom he dearly loved.
