Daniel Joseph Kosinski, age 90, of Toledo, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 12, 1928 in Toledo, OH to Clemence and Sophia (Adam) Kosinski. Daniel was a 1948 graduate of Woodward High School. A Veteran of the US Navy, he served during the Korean War from 1948-1952. Daniel worked for US Airlines at Toledo Express Airport for 31 years, retiring in 1990. He married Patricia Zydorczyk on June 14, 1952, recently celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. He and Pat were members of Regina Coeli Catholic Church for over 50 years. Daniel enjoyed reading, watching War movies and Westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also had a lifelong interest in airplanes and aviation. A loving husband and family man, he will be dearly missed.

Daniel is survived by his devoted wife Patricia; children, Pamela (Wayne) Zacharias and Steven Kosinski; grandchildren, Stacy (Scott) McGrew, Julie (Jesse) Koelling, Daniel (Shannon) Zacharias, Lisa (Ryan) Mount, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Zacharias, and Jamie Zacharias; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Frank Kosinski.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 1 p.m. The United States Navy and Lucas County Burial Corps will conclude with Military Honors in Calvary Cemetery.
