Virginia Ann Tellas, 80, Reelsville, died Monday March 26, 2007 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, Brazil.
Born Sept. 14, 1926 in Washington Township of Putnam County, she was the daughter of Harvey Paul an Alma Marie (Dreher) Neese.
A homemaker, she had been employed at Paper Art in Indianapolis, as a nurse's aide at Knightsville Nursing Home, and at Columbia Records in Terre Haute. She was a member of Big Walnut Baptist Church, Reelsville.
She married Donald L. Tellas on Oct. 28, 1949. He died April 12, 2006.
Surviving are three daughters, Penny Blair, Phoenix, Ariz., Patty Jerving and husband Douglas, Milwaukee, Wis., and Donna Tellas, Reelsville; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Mellie Marie Hammond.
