Charlie Katherine Ray, 87, Cameron, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at the Liberty, Mo., hospital.
Charlie was born on March 28,1915, in Cameron to Charles and Katherine Bryant.
She was a cook for 12 years for the Division of Youth Services for the State of Missouri. Charlie was a member of the Smithfork Baptist Church, where she was baptized in the fall of 1933.
Charlie married Cleo Oliver Filley on Oct. 4, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1959. She married Bonnie Lloyd Ray on Jan. 1, 1966. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jane Filley of Cameron; four grandchildren, Tony Filley, Dallas, TX; Tammy (Filley) Taylor and Terri (Filley) Hahn, both of Cameron and Travis Filley, Turney, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial was in Harlan Cemetery, Cameron.
