Youngest of three sisters, she was an LPN for many years. She loved nursing and her family; surviving are her husband, her father and step-mother, a son and an appointed son, along with three grandchildren, her two sisters, several nieces and nephews and scores of fans both in real life and online..
Her sense of humor was wonderful, she could joke about the most serious subjects and relieved everyone's tension when they were being discussed. Her additions to her online blog were much anticipated by her fans. Her book "Dawg Tired, The Brain Fog Chronicles", about her battles with MS has been translated into four or five other languages.
Several years ago a young man with literally nothing; no ID, no SS card, no BC was welcomed into her life and household. She gave him what no one else had, a loving family. She also assisted him in solving all he didn't have. He is now a productive member of society.
On top of everything else, she would have probably referred to herself as "that crazy cat lady". And she still would find time for humor in life and living.
