Diplomat and poet. Born in Belgrade, he grew in an environment appropriate for a refined civil upbringing. He studied in Paris, worked in diplomacy all his life, and wrote relatively few crystalline poems (published in 1903 and 1912), influenced by symbolism, of which several are analogical. Nevertheless he is considered one of the greatest Serbian poets of his times for the harmonic rhyme and precision of his verses. He died in Zagreb.
