Joy Delores (Murray) Driskill, 87, of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, died on January 1, 2018. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and lived in Birmingham, Alabama as a child and young adult. After marrying, she lived in Gadsden and Hokes Bluff, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Morris Driskill; infant son, Morris Driskill; granddaughter, Robin Michelle Parker; mother, Bessie (Ogletree) Murray; father, Colas Thomas Murray; brother, Thomas Murray; and sister, Connie Lewis. She is survived by six daughters and six sons-in-law, two sons and two daughters-in-law, seventeen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, one brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. January 4, 2018 at Saint James Catholic Church where she was a member for sixty years. Arrangements: Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
