Robert James Parkin (Bob), 71, of Provo and Springville passed away Saturday December 23rd, 2017 due to complications of a stroke.
Bob was born in Crookston, Minnesota and he was raised in Euclid, MN.
He graduated from Central High School in Crookston, MN in 1965.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1965 and served his Country in Vietnam. He was discharged in 1971.
Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, Loren and Gertie Parkin, Brothers Russell Parkin, Wayne Parkin, Neil Parkin.
Bob is survived by Sister Marilyn Weiland, Brothers Howard Parkin, Curtis Parkin and Keith Parkin.
Bob is also survived by his Children Robert Parkin, Cassie McCall Parkin, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home at 85 E 300 S, Provo. Family and friends may visit before the service from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
