Early Life: Myra was born February 8, 1958, in Burley, Idaho, a daughter of Wendell Albert and Faye Broderick Gibby. She lived in View, Idaho, until she was 10, when her family moved to Orem, Utah. She graduated from Orem High School in 1976.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Myra graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She was a sales representative for L'Oreal. Myra enjoyed art, cooking, sewing, collecting antiques and caring for her precious children. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Myra served in many positions, including: Primary and Sunday School teacher, as well as Relief Society and Primary presidencies. Myra Faye Gibby Ostler, of Orem, died Saturday, June 10, 1989, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 31.
Survived By: Her husband, Brad, of Orem; four sons and one daughter: Trent, Graden, Weston, Race and Jennica, all of Orem; her father, serving a mission in Argentina; one brother and five sisters: Dr. Wendell A. Gibby, of Mapleton, UT; Lark Cambridge (Dennis), of Denver, CO; Jill Spurgiesz (Bruce), both of Denver, CO; Lora Nelson (Gren), of Orem, UT; Wendy Jex (Kay), of Orem, UT; Becky Parr (Ryan), of West Jordan, UT.
Preceded In Death By: Her mother and two sisters.
