Charlene Ann Abate, 59, of Dayton passed away at home on Friday, November 10, 2017.
Charlene was born on May 20, 1958 in New Brunswick, NJ. She was a resident of Kendall Park and Dayton and graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1976. Charlene was employed by Bank of America and worked in the banking industry for over 30 years. She owned a summer home at the Jersey Shore and had a lifelong passion for the beach and spending time with her family.
Charlene is predeceased by her parents Richard F. and Charlotte (Sneath) Kish, brother Douglas Kish, and mother-in-law Janet Abate. She is survived by her beloved husband Gene J. Abate, children Jeffrey and Jacqueline, brother and sister-in-law Richard and Gail Kish and their daughter Kristen, sister and brother-in-law Terri and Jay Tomaszewski and their children Courtney and Daniel, father-in-law Phil Abate, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tod and Lori Abate. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
