Winifred Ruth (Hope) Smith, 92, died April 4, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Douglas E. Smith, loving mother of Steve (Patti) of NC & Linda Hall (Lenny) of IN - dear grandma to Aurora, Jessica, Selita and Jocelin & great grandma to Diva, Devan, Adelaide, Callan, Nevaeh and Asher - cherished sister & aunt. Memorial service on May 1, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church on Montgomery Rd. at 6:30pm. Memorials may be made to church (above) or to the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. The little girl who befriended the Gorilla 'Bushman'.
