Thomas Henry Wrenn, was born on November 26, 1920 in Denison, Texas. He was the eldest of 3 children born to Thomas and Lola Wrenn. His family moved to Kansas City, MO where he attended Lincoln High School. Thomas accepted the Lord early in life and joined Woodland Avenue Christian Church in Kansas City.

He later returned to Denison and attended Terrell High School, where he ran track, and played both football and basketball. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, TX, where he continued to participate in athletics. At Jarvis, he was an “All Conference” fullback, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He continued to further his educating, by obtaining his Master’s Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. He also did studies at Wayne State College in Detroit, MI, Fisk University in Nashville, TN and Bishop College while in Marshall, TX.

Thomas met and married Ms. Ida Rand. The two were blessed to raise their children plus many more. He also served as student council advisor, and coached a championship debate team and public speaking. Later he served as head coach for Ferris, TX. His career spanned over 40 plus years.
