Actor. He is best known for being part of the Aber family of child actors which included his brothers Johnny Aber, and Billy Aber. He was better known as 'Texas' Aber. He was born one of six children to Charles Benjamin Aber (1884-1959), and his wife Wilhelmina Schultz "Winnie" Aber (1886-1965), in Los Angeles, California, on June 18, 1919. He is best remembered for his only role that of the 'Skinny Kid' in the short comedy film, "How High Is Up?" (1927). The film which was directed by Gilbert Pratt, produced by Joe Rock, and which also starred the overweight comedy team of "A Ton Of Fun," consisted of Hilliard Kerr, Frank Alexander, and Bill "Kewpie" Ross. His promising career was cut short when he tragically passed away at the age of eight after he was severly burned when he stood too close to a gas heater.
