Ruth Buster, age 77, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, January 15, 1989, at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia.
She was born in Williamsburg, Ky, September 11,1911. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Danny Buster, Russell Springs, one daughter, Patsy Twyford, Russell Springs, one half brother, Charles Davenport, Florida, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. One son, Dale Buster, preceded her in death.
The funeral was Tuesday, January 17, 1989, 10 a.m. at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Howerton officiating.
Pallbearers were Jon West, Terry Daffron, Greg Rexroat, George Back, Stanley Twyford and Steve Grider.
Burial was in the Buster Cemetery.

I got this information from the social security claims index. For some reason her children's birth certificate gives her name as Ruth Bowlin. Her brother Leonard Caddell is buried in Wolf Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitley County. Her parents were from this area. Her father died in 19112 and also at Wolf Creek She was survived by a half-brother Charles Davenport of Florida. I don't see her on the census reports with this family so I can only go by what ss index says.
