Ida Mortimer (nee Horner), in her 91st year, born at Bruce Station on July 31, 1916. Beloved mother of Nancy DeVuono, Doreen Baic and Reg Mortimer (Karen). Grandmother of seven; Fred DeVuono Jr., Lori DeVuono (Whitten), Dean DeVuono, Ron Baic Jr., Leslee Baic (Warren), Jamie Mortimer, Stacey Mortimer (Mazzuca). Great grandmother of eight; Madelyn DeVuono, Elise and Nathan DeVuono, Ethan and Hayley Mortimer, Samantha and Simona Mazzuca and Zackery Warren. Step great grandmother of Slovic and Marta Piorkowaski. Loving sister of Violet Willmott (late Curnel), late Myrtle Rogers (late Frank), late Mary Buck (late Ralph), late Letty Pinnell (late Arnold) and late brother William (Bill) Horner (Gladys). Friends and relatives may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, January 29, 2007 from 12 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Spring interment Cloudslee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the F. J. Davey Home would be appreciated by the family.
