Obituary

Cliff Ast was born on May 17, 1930 in Regina, SK and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, February 18, 2011 in Regina, SK.

Cliff was predeceased by his wife Thelma; parents Frank and Millie; and brother Earl.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Craig (Eileen) and Jeff (Bonnie); grandsons Dustin (fiancé Jamie Horsley), Ryan and Derek; sisters-in-law Joyce Graff and Delores Ast; and nephews Calvin (Heather), David (Cathy) and Bob (Louise).

Cliff enjoyed fishing, baseball, shuffling and many winters in Texas. He was an active member of the Broadview Legion.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the Pasqua and General Hospitals, as well as the staff and residences of Parkside Extendicare and Renaissance Retirement Residence for their compassionate care and support.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cliff may be made to the Regina Lutheran Home, 1925 5th Avenue N., Regina SK S4R 7W1.
