John Jay Dickey Diary Benge, KY 3/14/1898 Margaret Jane Wyatt:
….. My mother was a daughter of Wilson Basil Lewis of Harlan or Leslie County. He lived on Greasy, on the waters of the Middle Fork…… My grandfather had two sons Henry M and Wilson….. My uncle, Henry M Lewis was said to be the richest man in Harlan County. He began with nothing. He married Clarinda Wilson, who still lives. (She actually had been dead as long as 2 years.)
There is an entry for the burial of Henry & Clarinda's oldest son, Wilson, in the Pineville City (Odd Fellows) Cemetery. There is no identifiable grave for him there. It is questionable whether he is actually buried there.
