BURNS, Muriel Vivian - 75, Waterville, Kings County, died October 20, 1992, in Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick. Born in Waterville, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lilia (Steadman) Reese. She was an adherent of Waterville Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Robert, Brian, both of Waterville; nine daughters, Geraldine (Mrs. Ralph Yorke), Kathleen (Mrs. Howard Bent), Helen (Mrs. Kenneth Schofield), Laura Levitte, all of Waterville; Beatrice (Mrs. Kenneth Dominey), Coldbrook, Kings County; Marcia (Mrs. Alexander McFarland), Aylesford; Norma (Mrs. Basil Dodge), Loretta (Mrs. Wallace Connors), both of Rockland, Kings County; Pauline Cooper, Granton, Ont.; two brothers, Donald, St. Catharine's, Ont.; Iris, Kentville; two sisters, Eva Dodge, British Columbia; Francis Watkins, Kentville; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman; three daughters, Lona, two in infancy; two brothers, Ferdinal, Kenneth; two sisters, Jessie, Marie. The body is in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, visiting 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Leo Fletcher and Rev. Hal York officiating. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes Association or any charity.
