Life's Work | Service | Interests: On July 23, 1947, she married Lavon Hatch Sawyer in Utah County, Utah. She married Lewis Thelbert Morrey on July 10, 1953. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1989. Geraldine was a true country girl and enjoyed being outdoors tending her garden or camping with her family. She loved and appreciated music and frequently enjoyed hearing her family sing to her. She had many talents and always had a project to make or paint. Geraldine had a great interest in the American Indians and devoted much of her life to learning their history and culture. She was a compassionate woman who always made her children and grandchildren feel included and loved. Geraldine Lavonne Morrey, of Orem, Utah, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. She was 87.
Survived By: Two children: Steven L. Morrey, of Magna; and Coleen Luker, of Orem; five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Lewis; her daughter, Linda; her two sisters: Hope and June; and her brother, Gerald.
