For their many years of service to the community, the twins received a proclamation from Mayor John DeStefano and the City of New Haven, as well as U.S. Senator Joseph Leiberman, who entered a testimonial on their behalf that will forever be a part of the Congressional Record. He was also an usher, benefactor, and parishioner of St. Michael's Church for 50 years.
