Kathryn Kay Arey age 92 of Glenview, Illinois (formerly of Berea, Ohio) born July 4, 1924, in Rost Twp. Minnesota passed away on March 18, 2017.
Beloved wife of Hugh C. Arey for 50 years. Loving step-mother of Thomas (Mary) Arey, Cynthia (Heinz) Brinkhaus, and Molly (John) Snyder, and step-grandmother to their 8 children.
Dear sister of Beatrice (David) Fullerton, Ruth (Harold) Sharkey, and the late Marge (Milton) Brand.
Cherished aunt and great aunt of many. Kathryn's adventures took her from grade school teacher to executive secretary, and included work in the Seattle Boeing plant during WWII and flying a Piper Cub.
Visitation Saturday, March 25, 2017, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois, 60016.
Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
