SEVILLE Charles S. Campbell, 84, of Seville, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at his home in Seville.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Seville United Methodist Church, W. Main St., Seville, with the Rev. Philip Wilden officiating. Burial will be at Mound Hill Cemetery in Seville with military rites.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home in Seville.
He was born in Monicello, Ill. and had been a Medina County resident for 53 years.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
He was a car salesman for many businesses in Summit and Medina Counties and was the first electric car dealer in Ohio.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3383, Seville Lions Club, Mason of Secaucus, N.J., Elks, Wooster, Moose Club, and Masonic Lodge No. 72, Hudson.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Wanda Campbell of Seville; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Jeff Plumer of Seville and Judith and Frank Klote of Plano, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Donna Campbell of Shelby; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ellen Freiberger of Monee, Ill.
A brother, Russell, died previously.
