Beloved husband of the late Helena, adored father of Robert and stepfather to Caroline, Charles, the late William and Victoria. He was the son of Patrick Constable HUNTER and Alexandra Alice Margaretta de Plumpton, co- heiress of Plumpton, dau of Capt Frank Reginald BECK, MVO, Estate Agent at Sandringham. He m 1973 (as her 2nd h) Constance Helen (1932-1997, formerly Mrs Alexander Mann) dau of Maj Herbert Harry Macdonald STUART-STEVENSON of Torrance (1876-1953) and Helen Constance (d 1985, Madam Stuart-Stevenson, Feudal Baroness of Kilbride), dau of William James CRAWFURD-STIRLING-STUART of Castlemilk of that Scottish gentry's family. They had one son as above.
He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)
He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 24 July 1947.
