Memphis community mourns loss of Shanae Finch, daughter of late U of M coach
Sad news spread throughout the community Sunday night after the loss of the daughter of a well known Memphis family.
Shanae Finch, daughter of the late Memphis Tigers Coach Larry Finch, has died.
Finch, 39, was at a cheerleading competition when she collapsed during the weekend. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time.

Shanae Finch, age 39, passed away on September 6, 2014. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Harold Ford Funeral Chapel, 1632 Sycamore View Rd. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Life Church of Memphis, 1800 N. Germantown, TN 38016. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by: N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 12 S. Parkway S., Memphis, TN 38134.
