Professional Football Player. For six seasons (1998 to 2003), he played at the defensive end position in the National and Canadian Football Leagues with the New York Jets, Washington Redskins and Edmonton Eskimos. Born Dorian Alexander Boose, he attended Henry Foss High School in Washington and played collegiate football at Washington State University. While with the Cougars, Boose formed a formidable defensive line with Leon Bender which propelled Washington State to a 10 and 1 record during the 1997 season which culminated with an appearance in the Rose Bowl. Bender went on to be drafted by the Oakland Raiders. Boose was selected by the New York Jets during the 2nd round of the 1998 NFL Draft and played in 44 career regular season games. Boose experienced a championship season with the Edmonton Eskimos who captured the Grey Cup Title in 2003. After retiring from football, his life took a downward spiral as he battled drug addiction which led to his eventual suicide.
