Nancy was born in Gosneyville, Clay Co. MO (Paradise was first known as "Gosneyville").

Nancy A. Wilhoit married Joshua G. Kindred on 12 Feb. 1857 in Clay Co., MO. They had a daughter, Jenni Calista, b. 1859 in Holt Co., Missouri. Jenni married Samuel Jackson Cox 25 Dec. 1879 in Clay Co., MO. She died 24 April 1921 in Pettis Co., MO. Her husband died 28 Jan. 1939 in Sedalia, Pettis Co., MO. They had at least two children, Bertha and Glen A. Cox.

They had a son, James Christopher, also b. 1859, Jenni's twin.

James and Jenni Kindred married Cox siblings, Hannah and Samuel Jackson, whose parents were Isaac Money Cox and Mary Elizabeth McGee. The Cox/McGee history can be found on their memorials in Paradise Cem., Paradise, Clay Co., MO.

Joshua and Nancy were divorced.

Nancy then married William Clark 23 Feb. 1870. The 1870 U.S. Census for Washington Township, Clay Co., MO (P.O. Liberty) (taken 11 Aug.) finds William (45 yrs), Nancy (32 yrs), William's children Thomas (21 yrs) and Mary (17 yrs), and Nancy's two children, James and Jennie Kindred (both 11 yrs). According to this census, William was born in Missouri. In 1870, he was farming.

Their neighbors are James W. McGee (28 yrs) and his wife, Damarias (27 yrs); and Pleasant Wilhoit (34 yrs) and his wife Jano (36 yrs).

William Clark was b. 22 Sept. 1825, perhaps in Clay Co., MO. He passed away 22 Jan. 1887. His burial site is unknown at this time.
