On 17 Dec 1968 a C-123K Provider from Phan Rang crashed when a fuel transfer problem resulted in engine failure. Twelve men died in the crash, and two more later died from injuries: Aircrew, C-123K 54-0708, 315th Spec Ops Wing: SSGT Jesse J. Bradshaw, Willard, NC, 309th Spec Ops Squadron was one of those killed.
He was the Father of three daughters; Daphne Denise, Julia Jane and Pamela L. His wife was Margaret L. Bradshaw, his Mom was Ommie Bradshaw and two Brothers Hartford T. and Refo L. Bradshaw.
He served with the 309th Special Operations Squadron, 319th Special Operations Wing, 7th Air Force.
He was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, the Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Air Force Good Conduct Medal and The Air Force Commendation Medal.
