Evelyn T. Stansbury (nee Titus) of Timonium, died peacefully on June 8, 2011 at her home in Mays Chapel. Beloved wife of the late W. Samuel Stansbury, Sr.; devoted mother of Kent B. Stansbury (and his wife Edie) of Timonium, Thomas M. Stansbury (and his husband Larry Fechter) of Palm Springs, CA, and W. Samuel Stansbury Jr., (and his wife Christine) of Westminster. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and devoted friends and caregivers Meena Ramcharan and Sharon Collins. She was predeceased by both of her younger siblings, Jane T. Gaither and John C. Titus.

In honor of her uncle, the late Dr. Clarence E. Macke, a long-time Baltimore pediatrician, Mrs. Stansbury donated her remains to the Anatomy Board of Maryland for the advancement of medical research and education. Cremation and a private interment will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Stansbury requested that memorial contributions be made to PFLAG of Westminster-Carroll County at P.O. Box 474, Westminster, MD 21158.
