Peter J. Tarchinski Jr., passed away on March 29, 2013 after a valiant fight against brain cancer.

Peter was born on July 28, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Peter & Barbara Tarchinski, Sr.

Peter grew up with his family and friends in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated from Parchment High School and attended Western Michigan's Honors College, University of Michigan and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in computer science. Peter was most proud of his work as a CAD (computer assisted design) specialist.

Peter married his lovely wife Carol (Simon) in 2001 and welcomed his beautiful daughters Olivia in 2002 and Micaela in 2004. He lived happily with his family in Canton, Michigan.

In addition to being an avid Michigan fan, he enjoyed participating in his girls' sporting, dancing, and school activities. His hobbies were biking and art. His love for life, learning, laughter and creativity will be his legacy to others. Peter was known as "true champion" to those who knew him well.

Peter was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and cousin Brian Wildman.

Peter is survived by his wife Carol; his children, Olivia and Micaela; and his faithful dog Sadie; his father Pete Sr.; and his siblings Terrie (Dean) Nielsen, Tim (Shelley) Tarchinski, and Lisa (red shirt) Olendorf. He is also survived by his father-in-law Leo; brothers-in-law Jim (Marlene) Simon, John Simon, Pete (Elaine) Simon, and sisters-in-law Joann Riley, Kristine (Frank) Jaskula, Linda (John) Tenza, Terry Simon, and Anne (Mark) Paluszny; his nieces and nephews Megan Tarchinski, Whitney Tarchinski, Nate Nielsen, Kyle and Eric Olendorf, Karen (Bill) Spurlin and Laura (Joe) Edell, David (Maggie), Amber and Michael (Kyra) Jaskula; Jeff and Eric Tenza; Alicia, Joe, and Brianne Simon; Julianne and Rachel Simon; AJ, Matthew, Xander, and Sarah Paluszny.
