KENNEDY - March 6, 1969, Mrs. Charlotte Emma Kennedy, aged 87 years of Twilight Nursing Home, High River, formerly of Bowness. Born in Quebec she came to High River district in 1916 and farmed there until coming to Calgary in 1944. She was a charter member of the Golden Age Club, and an active worker with the Red Cross. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by three sons, Alfred, Turner Valley, Alberta, Harold, New Westminister, B.C. and Howard, Ottawa; one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Christina) Wood, Calgary; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in Nov. 1958. Services at "The Garden Chapel" (Foster Funeral Home). 540 16th Ave. NW on Monday at 3:15 pm. Rev. Harry E. Roberts of Bowness, Full Gospel Church officiating. Interment Queens Park.
