Washington Post May 19, 1983: CHILDS, ANNIE ELIZABETH, of Glendale, Md., formerly of Manassas, Va., beloved wife of the late Otis Jack Childs; sister of Virginia Sanner; sister-in-law of Eva Croson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Howard Hale's Lanham Funeral Home, Annapolis rd., Lanham, Md., where services will be held Friday, May 20. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
She is d/o Emmett Fillmore Croson 1858 - 1911 and his second wife Annie Rebecca Saffer. He was buried in a family cemetery near Bull Run Post Office in western Fairfax County.
