Captain in the Lithuanian army. Married Ursule Lietuvninkaite on January 7, 1933 at Holy Cross (Carmelite) Church in Kaunas, Lithuania. Married Albina Juodyte in 1946 in Germany under the mistaken belief that Ursule had been killed in the war.
