Margaret "Peggy" Cannon was born in St. Louis, Mo. to Estelle and B.B. Cannon. Her happiest childhood memories were of summers spent with her many aunties and cousins in Indiana.

Peggy graduated from the University of Michigan. She was a Kappa Kappa Gamma sister, as was her mother. She married her dear husband, Bill Schlender and they had a life together full of friends, family, travel and love. She was an avid reader and generous lender of favorite books.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Estelle and B.B. Cannon; and her brothers, Benjamin B. Cannon and George H. Cannon.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Nancy Kasella, Sally Krahn and Binky Krahn; and grandchildren, John and Meg Chevalier. Peggy also leaves behind many friends deeply loved by her.
